West Bank: A 40 year-old Israeli man was stabbed multiple times outside a shopping mall by a teen Palestinian from the West Bank village of Yata near Hebron. After being stabbed, the victim chased and shot at his attacker, before collapsing to the ground. He was later named as Ari Fuld, 40, from nearby Efrat. The attack took place next to the Gush Etzion Junction in the central West Bank, south of Jerusalem.
The terrorist, a 17-year-old Palestinian teenager, was then shot by another armed civilian and taken into custody, according to the Israel Defense Forces. The attacker, despite being shot multiple times, is said to be alive and out of danger. However, 40 year-old Ari Fuld has been pronounced dead by the local Israeli hospital.
A video of the attack was released by local Israeli authorities and was posted on Twitter by the military & defense correspondent of Jerusalem Post, Anna Ahronheim.
