On Friday al-Qaeda’s as-Sahab Media released a new 11 minute audio tape by al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) spokesperson Usama Mahmood, addressing Pakistani Islamist groups.

In the new audio tape AQIS spokesperson announces it is the first in the series of four sessions addressing Pakistani Islamist groups.

In the latest tape, which is titled “Become a helper of Allah”, AQIS spokesperson condemns Islamic State and democratic system and also criticises other Jihadi groups for their ‘mistakes’. AQIS spokesperson called on Islamist groups to ‘serve Islam’ by rejecting democracy and fighting liberalism, capitalism and secularism.
