Afghanistan: At least four Election Commission employees & two policemen were wounded in a suicide bombing close to the office of Afghan Election Commission in Kabul, Afghan government said on Monday.

The suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest close to the vehicle of the election staff after he was identified by the police forces.

Hours after the attack, Islamic State’s Amaq Agency claimed the attack, claiming to have killed and wounded 25 Election Commission staff. Islamic State also released the photo of the suicide bomber, named as Abu Usama Badakhshi by IS.
