Islamic State executed Taliban commander in Nangarhar

Afghanistan: On Sunday Islamic State’s Amaq propaganda network released a statement announcing the execution of an Afghan Taliban commander, identified as Adam Khan, in Chaparhar district of Nangarhar.

The Taliban commander was recently kidnapped by Islamic State Khorasan (ISKP) militants in Nangarhar.

Shortly after the Amaq claim, Islamic State released a photo report on the execution of the Taliban commander.
