Pakistan: A Pakistan Army soldier was killed and another injured in an IED explosion on Monday morning in North Waziristan.

The IED exploded when the security personnel were passing by Datta Khel Tehsil of North Waziristan. The deceased has been identified as sepoy Muhammad Tahir, while the injured as Lance Naik Muhammad Khan. The injured soldier was shifted to Miranshah hospital.

Hizbul Ahrar’s claim for Monday’s attack in North Waziristan

This was the second attack on Monday that was claimed by Hizbul Ahrar. Earlier, Hizbul Ahrar had claimed killing a senior police officer in Lahore, along with his gunman and driver.
