Pakistan: Security forces have killed wanted terrorist Hakim in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) at Mochiwal area in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to ISPR, the killed terrorist had made six civilians hostage for ulterior motives and he was armed with automatic weapons and grenades.

All hostages have been rescued by security forces.

Four security forces personnel were also injured the operation.

In a statement released by the Umar Media of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the group owned the slain terrorist, identifying him as Abdul Hakim s/o Abdul Rehman. According to TTP statement, he fought for fourteen hours in a gun battle before he was shot dead by Pakistani security forces.

ITCT Newsdesk was unable to verify TTP’s claims.
