Pakistan: A notorious pro-IS media group has released a new audio tape threatening Pakistani Islamist leaders after excommunicating them from Islam.

The new audio tape has been released by the pro-IS Ahwaal Ummat Media Center and has been dubbed in Urdu by a South Asian IS militant known as Abu Hasham. In the past, Ahwaal Ummat Media Center has released several other messages, including audio tapes and videos, threatening both India and Pakistan. In one such case, a video released by the same pro-IS media group in 2017 threatened an attack on Taj Mahal in India.

In the latest audio tape, which is one minute and 27 seconds in duration, Abu Hasham threatens Pakistani Islamist leaders Mullah Fazal ur Rehman, Hafiz Saeed and Tahir Ashrafi after declaring takfir.
