Afghanistan: A Taliban prisoner who was being kept in a jail in Kandahar was moved to another jail in Shar-e-Safa in Zabul province. While the prisoner was being moved from the police HQ to the jail, he snatched a gun from one of the police guards and killed at least 8 policemen, including police commander Pashteen, on the spot.
