Pakistan: Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Tuesday claimed an attack targeting the building of security forces in Loralai Cantt, Balochistan.
The attack was carried out around 6:00 hours in the morning and locals reported heavy firing in the area between security forces and armed militants. According to initial reports, the target of the attack was a building that housed the interrogation centre of an intelligence agency. It was not immediately clear which intelligence agency was using the facility but according to some reports, the facility was being used by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
The firing in the area was reported for several hours and it was not immediately clear how many terrorists were involved in the attack but according to multiple sources ITCT Newsdesk talked to, a total of four to six terrorists took part in the attack.
According to initial reports, the attack has killed at least four Pakistani soldiers, while at least 5 others are reportedly injured.
The attack has been claimed by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) central group.
Multiple videos from the attack site have surfaced on social media networking site Twitter.

In a statement given to the media, Pakistani military’s PR wing ISPR said:
Terrorists’ attack at residential / administration compound of forces FC Loralai, Balochistan. 4 terrorists were shot down including 1 suicide bomber who blew himself during final stage of clearance operation. 4 security forces personnel martyred, 2 injured
In a detailed statement released by TTP later on Tuesday said that three of its militants took part in the attack. The three militants were identified by TTP as Qari Suhail alias Qari Ahmed, Nasrullah alias Nusrat and Jundullah alias Junaid. The TTP statement also mocks Pakistani media for failing to get the right number of militants involved in the attack. According to TTP, all three militants belonged to TTP’s Taliban Special Group (TSG).
TTP also released a group photo of the three terrorists.
