Pakistan: Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) faction Hafiz Gul Bahadar group claimed targeting Pakistani border posts in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan in a cross-border attack from Afghanistan on Tuesday.

The claim released by Gul Bahadar group further says that Pakistani posts caught fire due to heavy shelling and Pakistani helicopters later evacuated the dead and injured. The statement also says that two members of Gul Bahadar group also died in the retaliatory fire by Pakistani security forces.

Datta Khel is the same area of North Waziristan where recently Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists in a major CT operation. Seven Pakistani solders, including an officer, also died in that operation.
