North Waziristan: Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is based in Afghanistan since Pakistani military launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb, claimed a cross-border attack from Afghanistan, targeting Pakistani soldiers who were setting up a new outpost in North Waziristan’s Kandghar area, on Wednesday.

According to the TTP statement, it used heavy weaponry in the attack.

There was no immediate confirmation of the attack from Pakistani military.

In the past, TTP has carried out several cross-border attacks against Pakistani troops from Afghanistan soil.
