Pakistan: According to initial reports on Tuesday, at least three Pakistani security personnel have been killed and eight others injured when terrorists opened fire as well as caused an explosion targeting the convoy of security forces in Awaran district of Balochistan province.

The nature of the explosion is not yet clear.

Local Levies officials confirmed that at least three security personnel have died and eight others were injured in the attack. The injured personnel were shifted to the nearest hospital, while the security forces started a search operation in the area.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
