UK: Two boys aged 15 were arrested in Kent on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack, on Thursday.

Counter-terrorism police raided the teenagers’ homes in Ramsgate, Kent, this morning. Kent Police said they were held on suspicion of preparing for terrorist acts.

Detective Superintendent Nigel Doak said: “I would like to reassure the local community that today’s arrests were pre-planned and intelligence-led, and there was no immediate threat to the public.”
The identity of the two boys has not been disclosed by the police due to privacy reasons.
