Summary:
Recently, Islamic State Khurasan published propaganda claiming that “one of its greatest objectives is liberating Uyghurs.” Allow me to be crystal clear: the people of East Turkistan reject Islamic extremism and do not seek the support nor want the help of Islamic extremists. Islamic extremists have only helped China to gravely damage and undermine East Turkistan’s struggle for national independence. East Turkistan’s struggle is a national struggle and has nothing to do with Islamic extremism or fundamentalism.
