Analyst- Israel

Rachel Avraham is the President of the Dona Gracia Mendes Nasi Centre for Human Rights in the Middle East. She is also a political analyst at the Safadi Centre for International Diplomacy, Research, Public Relations and Human Rights and a contributor at the Haym Salomon Centre.
Rachel has a vast experience in newspaper industry, and has worked as an editor at JerusalemOnline, as Content Manager at United with Israel, and more. She was also a correspondent for Israel Resource News Agency, Jerusalem.

She is the author of “Women and Jihad: Debating Palestinian Female Suicide Bombings in the American, Israeli and Arab Media“.

She has a Masters of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies and MA Thesis—–“Women and Jihad: Debating Palestinian Female Suicide Bombings in the American, Israeli, and Arab Media” from Ben-Gurion University. She is a US and Israeli citizen and is fluent in English and Hebrew languages.
