CHIIS Researcher – Egypt
Mr Abou Bakr works as a Project Manager at Aid Organisation for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (ASSAF) in Israel and worked as a Security Analyst at International Institute for Counter Terrorism (ITCT) from 2015-15. Sako is also a Co-founder of African Student Organisation as well Organisation for African Communities in Israel.
Mr Abou Bakr is a recent M.A graduate in Conflict resolution and Global studies from the Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC) Herzilya in Israel with a B. A in Government in Counter Terrorism and International affairs. Sako is a security analyst in the Middle Eastern studies specially Egypt and Counter terrorism researcher. Sako was born and bred in Egypt and currently resides in Israel for the last 16 years. He is a linguist fluent in Arabic, English, French and Hebrew.
